Bethan Lutheran Church is located on the corner of Elmhurst Street and Crystal Lake Avenue, with a large parking area and a fenced in playground. The church also houses a preschool, and offers several choirs and music opportunities, including a world class pipe organ recently acquired with the help of an Organ Task Force. Bethany's ministries include those to youth and seniors, and they are active in global missions to Tanzania, Costa Rica, and Guyana. They are also active locally with such organizations as PADS, Meals on Wheels and the Crystal Lake Food Pantry.
