Garfield Park Conservatory is one of the largest conservatories in the United States. It occupies more than 4.5 acres and includes cold frames. The conservatory grows a variety of plants for displays in city parks and spaces. It organizes a range of special events, such as flower shows, photo exhibitions and origami workshops. The conservatory also hosts various educational field trips. The Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance houses the University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener Office and GreenNet. The alliance offers a variety of educational and plant services. Additionally, the conservatory hosts special occasions, such as weddings, reunions and business meetings. It is located in Chicago.
