"Every believer must become a spark of light," was just one of the famous sayings attributed to Pope John XXIII. At this school that bears his name, the faculty and staff try to prepare each student to live up to that legacy.
The curriculum at this school includes foreign language classes in French, Latin and Spanish, honors and accelerated math, science and English classes, music, art, drama, dance, athletics and electives including chess club, spelling club and an award winning Science Olympiad team. "PJ23" students consistently score among the best in the nation in testing year after year.
Founded in 1986, the school now has over 300 students.
