During the next 30-plus years, we operated as a small, closely held company with offices in Illinois and Indiana. In 1971, we were acquired by Securian Financial Group. Shortly after, we changed our name to Personal Finance Company - clearly identifying our commitment to meeting the individual needs of our customers. Since then, we have continued to expand our company into more communities.
