The La Grange Village Hall houses the government offices of the Village of La Grange, Ill. The government offices include administration, community development, public works and finance. The office of community development issues building permits, disseminates information regarding building codes and coordinates inspections for new construction and new occupancies. The office of public works maintains the village s streets; sidewalks; parkways; gutters; curbs; sewers; manholes; water meters, mains, valves and services; fire hydrants; and an urban forest of more than 9,000 trees. The finance department prepares, issues and administers the village s annual budget; tracks village revenues; and handles all billing matters, including water, licenses, village stickers, special assessments and parking decals.
