Carroll County String Project is a nonprofit community music school founded by retired viola and violin teacher Margaret Motter Ward. It offers music instruction to students of all backgrounds, abilities and ages. Programs include Early Childhood Music, Chamber Music, Flute Instruction, Suzuki Violin, Piano Instruction and others. Students also participate in recitals and auditions. Need-based scholarships are available; applications can be submitted online. In addition to this Eldersburg location, classes are also held in New Windsor and Westminster.
