History
In 1974, one man had a vision to bring diner style food to the Canton area. His business grew and grew until he was no long able to run his business on his own. Two brothers took over in 1989, further establishing the restaurant name to what it is today. Even though the Canton area of Baltimore has developed enormously over the years, John's Carryout has been able to maintain a steady flow of patrons and upheld that one little man's dream of great food.
Specialties
We specialize is simple, delicious food. Cheesesteaks and Cold cuts are what we are most known for. Our sandwiches are small enough to have a quick bit or a platter will fill your stomach. Adding a side of fries or mozzarella sticks will complete your meal. Anything you want, we can make; just ask!
