We are Grupo Ondas. We are capoeiristas who embrace all cultures. Our main and ultimate goals are to help bridge the gap between the Brazilian culture and other cultures through Capoeira. We use the art of Capoeira to teach the 10 Universal Values (see our 10 principles below), for they are positive values we believe we all share in order to grow as better people. This is reflected in our game as well as our whole being.Another goal of our group is to gain the reputation of positive, respectful, humble, open, non-discriminating capoeiristas who are committed to the development, education, and integration of all cultures.Capoeira is a one of a kind martial art that combines aspects of self defense, acrobatics, music and dance.Uniquely Brazilian in its origins, it meshes these various art forms into one synergistic martial art trainingexperience.
