Picturesque Arrowhead Farms is an A-Circuit hunter-jumper show barn and full-care boarding facility. The 200-acre farm, once home to Ayrshire and Hereford cattle, has been owned and operated for nearly 80 years by the Mattison family. Today, Arrowhead Farms is completely devoted to humter-jumper training and boarding.

The lesson program is open to anyone at any level from beginner to advanced. The program is headed by Kristen Bumpus, one of the top Hunter/Jumper/Equitation trainers and pro riders on the East coast.

Recent renovations in 2005 include a 200 x 80 foot indoor riding ring, two heated indoor wash stalls and one outdoor wash stall, plus the creation of ten additional individual turnout paddocks.

Four Fillies Farm

The Four Fillies Farm has been in business since August 2004. The riding stable offers the following lessons: private, semiprivate, group, party and team. All of these lessons include use of its horses. If you already own a horse, you may bring it to the facility by trailer and use it for a lesson. Please see Four Fillies' website for rates and other information. In addition, check out the Barn Flies summer program, which pairs a student with a horse or a pony. There are also several other "horsemanship" programs available. Four Fillies Farm hosts horse shows at the farm; please call for the date of the next show.

Cutler Farm

Cutler Farm offers riding lessons, horse training and boarding. The facility is also a dressage farm. Riders are taught to ride their horses on flat surfaces as opposed to jumping for show. Diana Mukpo is the head trainer.

Shining Valley Farm

Shining Valley Farm offers excellent facilities and services for horse enthusiasts. This farm provides a structured training schedule for both horses and riders. The individual needs of each animal and owner are taken very seriously and the staff strives for excellence. All barn staff live on-site and horses are regularly checked from their first feeding at 7am until their night check at 10pm. The farm is situated on ten acres of land. Horses are also available for sale.
