Operational for more than 55 years, Berklee College of Music is one of the largest independent music colleges in the world. Located in Boston, Berklee College enrolls more than 4,000 students, and employs over 500 faculty members. A nonprofit institution, the college was founded by Lawrence Berk as Schillinger House of Music.
