Ms. Mary Cleary began her career as a professional placement consultant for an international search and staffing firm, where she was rapidly promoted to Branch Manager, and later Managing Director for several locations. Mary was chosen to be the first female in the Executive training program for ITT in New York and later opened ITT's Boston office. Due to her success and loyalty in the search and staffing industry, her clientele advised her to start her own company. In 1981, she founded her own firm, Cleary Consultants, Inc, and since that time she has survived three recessions and has demonstrated an unparalleled record of success in satisfying the needs of Fortune 1000 companies ; state and government agencies, including the Central Artery/Tunnel Project ; top universities ; and medical and non-profit institutions. Honor Circle recipient of more than 50 National Achievement Awards, Mary is an internationally recognized authority in the search and staffing industry and frequently featured as an expert by several television programs, radio and print media, such as the Boston Sunday Globe and the Boston Business Journal. Recently she has been sought out as a guest speaker and authority on the economy and business trends by Eastern Bank in conjunction with Inc. Magazine. She has been selected and listed as an Honored Member of Who's Who in US Executive and National Register's of Who's Who in Executive Professionals. Mary was also a recipient of the Aristeon Awardgiven by H.A.W.C. to prominent women internationally who portray exceptional leadership roles in their communities, the nation in terms of policy issues, as well as their professional fields of endeavor. In addition to her professional career, Mary is highly active in public service and is a tireless charity fundraiser. She has lectured for various organizations and has served on several executive boards and an active member and past member of the Chamber of Commerce, NAFE, MAPS, NAPS, AHI, Helicon and OCAMPR to name a few. She is currently the Vice President of the Massachusetts Association of Personnel Services in Boston. She is the founder, past president and currently acts as an advisor to a philanthropic non-profit organization called AXION.
