Bournewood Health Systems is the owner and operator of Bournewood Hospital, a full-service, independent psychiatric hospital licensed for 90 beds. The hospital has been in continuous operation as a psychiatric hospital on 12 acres in South Brookline, Mass., since 1895. It was originally located in Forest Hills in 1884.
