Attorney Murphy graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1974 and Western New England School of Law in 1978 and has resided in the Springfield area his entire life. Upon admission to the Massachusetts Bar, he became an Assistant District Attorney in the Hampden County District Attorney's Office and served as a prosecuting attorney until 1985, handling felony prosecutions. Since 1985, Attorney Murphy has concentrated in civil and criminal litigation in both State and Federal Courts. Attorney Murphy has tried personal injury and auto tort cases with successful results. He has extensive criminal trial experience and has tried murder, drug, white collar and DUI cases in all courts. Attorney Casartello concentrates his practice in the area of workers' compensation and personal injury law. Since 1986 he has represented injured workers before the Industrial Accident Board where he has developed a reputation as a strong advocate for his clients. He also represents insurance carriers in the defense of workers' compensation claims, giving him unique understanding of how claims are handled in the insurance industry.
