Minerva Indian Cuisine located on 500 Providence Highway (Route 1), is the "Jewel of Indian Cuisine" in the Boston area. This family-owned business opened up in 2007, near the golf course in the Galleria by the Green shopping plaza, with ample parking and an array of wonderful Indian flavors and dishes.

Norwood is not known for its ethnic restaurants, but Minerva might change all that someday.

Prakash Redddy, Chakrapani Gosetty and Ramanaiah Vavilla use authentic Indian cooks to create an alluring buffet of dishes that has the Norwood community relishing this "jewel."

Bamboo House 2 is a traditional Cantonese Chinese restaurant on Washington Street in downtown Norwood. The restaurant has a small dining area as well as take-out and delivery options. Entrees include a variety of beef, pork and chicken dishes, including sweet and sour chicken, sesame beef and moo shu. Some seafood dishes are represented as well including shrimp with cashew nuts and shrimp with broccoli. Delivery is limited to Stoughton and a small surrounding area; please call for availability. Parking is free on the street.
