Pingree School is a co-ed college preparatory day school located on a splendidly scenic campus off Highland Avenue near Harold Parker State Park.
The school began with 30 girls in 1960 and went co-ed in 1971. The 100 acre campus is on the former Flying Horse Farm that was owned by the Pingree family, who left the property to become a school.
In addition to the main building, the campus is also home to extensive playing fields and a rink, plus a performing arts center.
