Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1645 is the Stoughton branch of American war veterans that serve the Stoughton community. It brings together veterans and ensures that they are respected for their service, that they receive their entitlements and are recognized for the sacrifices they have made for our country. The hall on Washington Street has many community events throughout the year, including weekly meat auctions, bingo games and potluck dinners. The VFW raises awareness and funds for local charities as well.

Veterans of Foreign Wars

Known as the Fidelity Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1011 on Stevens Street is also home to the Ladies Auxillary. It provides a place where military veterans can gather, socialize and access a variety of programs and services. The post's leadership headed by Commander Manny Raymond also keep its 700 members abreast of the latest developments in Washington that affect retired military members' medical and pension benefits.
