Not simply BEADS is a full-service, family-owned bead and jewelry studio in Plymouth. This shop hand selects natural gemstone beads, vintage glass, vintage Swarovski crystal, natural wood and nut beads for its store. It also carries a large selection of jeweler's quality, nickel-free sterling silver and vermeil findings (in fact it only carries solid sterling, vermeil and 14K gold. No plated base metals or pewter). Not Simply BEADS also offers classes in beadwork, metal clay, silver fusing, wirework, sheet metal, cold connections, lampwork bead making, Kumihimo, painting and many other techniques. Many of its classes are instructed by Nicole, who is a master silversmith and received her fine arts degree from Rochester Institute of Technology in jewelry design and metalsmithing. This shop carries an extensive line of tools for wirework and metalwork not typically supplied by bead stores.
