Located in Battle Creek, Mich., the Doris Klaussen Developmental Center is operated by the Calhoun Independent School District and provides educational services for students with moderate to severe impairments. Its on-site programs include day treatment for students with severe emotional impairments and a prevocational training program for adult students. Its off-site programs are located in local K-12 buildings and include cognitive impairment-moderate level, autism and early childhood developmental delays programs.
