Minnesota Public Radio serves a regional population of over 5 million people and more than 750,000 listeners each week. It is also one of the largest producers and distributors of classical music programming in the U.S. With assistance from the state of Minnesota, Minnesota Public Radio maintains and improves the technical infrastructure to the state's Emergency Alert System by providing signals to all other radio, television and cable stations in Minnesota.
