History
Built as the home of the Ethical Society, The Sheldon has served the St. Louis community with world class music, art and community event space since 1912. Now run by the Sheldon Art Foundation, The Sheldon presents over 350 events a year, including concerts in jazz, folk, classical, blues, rock, pop and bluegrass genres, plus art exhibits featuring rotating exhibits in photography, jazz history, architecture, St. Louis artists and collections, and children's art.
