As Downtown Container Park requires a lot of outdoor walking, it's best to avoid visiting during the day during the months of June through August. Due to increased crowds, it's also best to stay away from Container Park and the Downtown Las Vegas area during holiday's like Fourth of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Saint Patrick's Day.

Right at the entrance of Container Park is a 55-foot-tall praying mantis made entirely of sturdy steel. The sculpture is the perfect photo op at any point during the day, but at night is the best time to see the mantis come to life, shooting flames from its antennae and blaring music from its frame.
Inside Container Park, kids will get a kick out of the 30-foot-tall treehouse. The interactive zone promotes development while giving parents a chance to take a seat and relax at several picnic tables surrounding the tree house.
The shopping garners the main focus of Container Park's guests, with over two dozen stores touting luxury goods, handcrafted merchandise, and keepsakes. Over ten different eateries provide sustenance in the form of barbecue, gourmet hot dogs, vegan options, cupcakes, and other sweets.

Due to being in Downtown Las Vegas, Container Park is near the Fremont Street Experience and the Mob Museum. Both attractions are within walking distance of Container Park, though The Deuce bus line can be used to get to either one.
