The business was hatched during a conversation with a designer about a store I managed called Custom Truck. The designer came into Custom Truck and she wanted to know who designed the store. Never really hearing to much about design, I didn't realize until she told me that I was in the wrong business. She was right, I love to express myself through color,texture and culture and through my own art. Micano is the perfect mechanism to express my love for art and decor that is man made.
Specialties
Micano Home specializes in handmade world rustic home and garden decor. Our store is full of wall art,sculptures,lamps,gifts. Everything in the store is handmade and is cultural. We have a mix of world rustic design leaning a little tribal and we also love to up-cycle and re-cycle urban art and decor. We also have the largest collection of locally made art, the items are all purchased from the artist and that is how we support local art. Nothing from China is ever entered the building in 12 years. Micano home is extraordinary by choice and our motto is to -Bring your dream home!
