History
Tancell Care operates supportive living arrangements as well as a program that serves people with developmental disabilities living in their own residences. We define developmental disabilities as any significant disability arising before adulthood and which is expected to continue throughout the person's lifetime. There are many conditions that meet this broad definition, including, but not limited to, Autism, Aspergers, Downsyndrome, to name a few, depending on their needs, each participant receives anywhere from one to 24 hours of staff support daily. Personalized support focuses on the goals in each participant can include assistance in any or all of the following areas: problem solving, self care, health and safety, social skills, community integration, home maintenance, food and nutrition, shopping, money management, leisure activities and accessing community resources.
Specialties
We serve individuals with developmental disabilities under our Supported Living Programs and individuals with behavioral health issues in our outpatient setting. We provide a cluster of personalized services for the following areas which include, but not limited to; problem solving, self care, health and safety, social skills, community integration, home maintenance, food and nutrition, behavioral support and treatment, nursing, crisis management and prevention, money management, leisure activities and accessing community resources.
