Dumont High School
Founded in 1932, Dumont High School is accredited by the Middle States Association of College and Secondary Schools and the New Jersey Department of Education. The school operates various clubs, including a media club, math club, oracle and peers as listeners groups, ecology club, student council, debate club and the National Honor Society. In addition, Dumont High School offers football, basketball, volleyball, golf, softball, cross country, and track and field as sports activities. The school operates various departments, such as special education, English, social studies, math, science, fine arts, foreign language, and health and physical education. Located in Dumont, N.J., Dumont High School is a part of Dumont Public Schools, which is comprised of five schools that include two kindergarten through grade five schools, two kindergarten through grade eight schools and a high school. Dumont Public Schools serves more than 2,700 students.
