Hasbrouck Heights Borough Hall

The borough of Hasbrouck Heights, which was incorporated in 1894, is home to more than 11,000 residents. The borough is governed by an elected mayor and six council members. The municipal complex is home to the municipal offices, library and senior center. The building was officially dedicated Dec. 14, 2003. Originally the borough offices, along with police and fire departments, were located on Hamilton Avenue. That building was destroyed in a fire in 1999, which was said to have been caused by an electrical problem. The Mayor and Council meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month in the council chambers.
