Jaclyn Brancato, DO practices in the Internal Medicine department at Summit Health. She was born, raised, and educated in New Jersey. She attended Stevens Institute of Technology for her undergraduate studies in Chemical Biology, where she graduated with honors. She went on to earn her medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jerseys School of Osteopathic Medicine. At her medical school, she served on Student Council, was President of the National Osteopathic Women Physician Association, and was Chairperson for Student Doctor for a Day, a campus-wide event held for children from underserved areas in New Jersey. Dr. Brancato completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Barnabas Healths Jersey City Medical Center. In her final year, she served as Chief Resident of her residency program. After residency, she practiced internal medicine with Atlantic Health System. Dr. Brancato is board certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM). In 2013, Dr. Brancato received the Vivere Christus award from the Diocese of Paterson, in recognition of her dedication to the community and charitable efforts. For the past decade, Dr. Brancato has been a volunteer at the Department for Persons with Disabilities, a non-profit that serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Dr. Brancato lives in New Jersey with her husband and sons. She is fluent in Spanish. During her free time, Dr. Brancato enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and volunteering.
