With a view to expand family-owned dairy business, Carlton C. Durling established QuickChek in 1966. From its single store in Dunellen, N.J., the company has grown into a chain of more than 100 full-service convenience stores with presence in over 15 counties and employing nearly 1,750 individuals. QuickChek maintains public utility services, gasoline stations and ATMs throughout its stores. The company is headquartered in Whitehouse Station, N.J., and operates a store in Piscataway, N.J.
