The Unitarian Society of Ridgewood offers two Sunday services along with religious education for children and young adults. In addition, the society provides a variety of spiritual, educational and social groups and events for adults.
The church began in a rented basement room of the Ridgewood Opera House in 1896 with 14 members. In 1900, the church moved into a house on Cottage Place, where it remains today. The congregation is now comprised of over 300 members.
