Azadeh Beheshtian is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She specializes in interventional cardiology and peripheral artery disease, with a focus on women's heart health. Dr. Beheshtian studied at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, and earned her doctor of medicine. She completed a three-year post-doctoral research fellowship in the Department of Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Beheshtian performed her internal medicine residency at the University of Southern California. Additional fellowships Dr. Beheshtian completed include a Cardiology fellowship at Montefiore Hospital at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York, an Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, and a Peripheral Endovascular fellowship at the Cardiovascular Institute of the South.
