History
Bailey's Corner Pub has been a Yorkville institution since opening in 1954. Originally known as Loftus's, in the 1970s it became Tiernan's, followed by Nash's Cash Box in the 1980s. In 1989, the bar changed hands once again and was christened Bailey's Corner Pub. While the interior has been updated to meet the comfort of today's drinkers, the original hand-carved back bar (dating from the early 1900s) and French grandfather clock made in 1863 remain, along with the pressed tin ceiling, exposed brick walls, and hardwood floors.
Specialties
Bailey's Corner Pub offers a full bar, including a selection of approximately 30 domestic, import, and craft beers, which change seasonally. We're also proud to offer a wide variety of tequila and mezcal. Bailey's has a dartboard, Golden Tee, and pinball, as well as 11 TVs for hockey, baseball, football, and college fans. If sports aren't your thing, there are plenty of nooks for a quiet conversation or a highly competitive game of Jenga. If you're craving wings or pizza, you're welcome to order from our extensive menu collection from neighborhood restaurants, or to bring in your own food. We can be partially or fully reserved for private parties, and have hosted all types of events, from low-key birthdays to fully catered corporate gatherings.
