Six miles of hiking trails traverse over 272 acres of hardwood forests and meadows with ponds, streams, overlooks and wildlife. The nature center offers year-round public programs and community events, day camps for kids, rental facilities, school field trips, an art gallery, snowshoe rentals, and much more. As a private, non-profit organization, Baltimore Woods Nature Center is open to the public with no daily admission or parking fees. Memberships are also available, allowing visitors reduced program fees, free use of snowshoes, and registration for day camps. The Interpretive Center is open Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm, and Saturdays from 10am-4pm.
