Specialties
Erica goes the extra step to connect to her clients. She understands children don't always understand or know the best ways to express their feelings. In therapy, a variety of strategies are used to form a strong bond with someone she can trust. Children will practice skills both in and out of sessions. Erica understand that children do not struggle in a vacuum. If they are anxious at home, they are likely finding ways to avoid school which can lead to sadness and feelings of failure. Erica's goal is to help children change their thinking and behavior, and cheer their successes. Some common issues Erica will help her children to manage are anxiety, depression, anger, social difficulties, and low self-esteem.
