Tim Fatato, L.Ac
Tim Fatato is a graduate of the Pacific College of Health and Science where he earned a master’s degree in Acupuncture. Upon graduation, Tim began working in community clinics in Brooklyn. After four years of working in fast past, high-volume settings, Tim gained real-world experience treating a wide range of conditions.Tim continued his postgraduate study at NYU Langone, where he volunteered in Neurology and Orthopedic Recovery using acupuncture and massage to treat stroke, neuropathy, post-surgery recovery, and pain cases.Tim currently serves as a professor at his alma mater where he teaches Tui Na, a form of medical massage, to acupuncture and massage students. As a practitioner of Tui Na, Tim regularly combines hands-on bodywork and manipulation with his acupuncture. He believes the body holds on to the stresses, traumas, and experiences of everyday life which will contribute to the state of one’s health. Through acupuncture and massage, a practitioner can begin to help the body return to a more neutral and healthy state.Tim has experience treating pain conditions, neuropathy, stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, sleep issues, digestive issues, and hormonal imbalances. He approaches each case with compassion and empathy, not only trying to help his patient at that moment but also giving them tools and exercises they can use outside of the clinic to continue benefiting their health.
