PRALID (People Rebuilding And Living In Dignity) was founded by a mother who couldn't find satisfactory services for her son who had sustained a brain injury.

PRALID's mission is to provide opportunities in Western New York for individuals with traumatic brain injuries, developmental disabilities, and/or people eligible for nursing home care who choose to live in the community.
