History
The Barton House (1903) was built for Darwin Martin's sister Delta and her husband George. The Martin House is a 15,000 sq. ft. house for Darwin, Isabelle and their two children Dorothy R. and Darwin R. Martin. A Gardener's Cottage was added in 1909. Three other structures also designed by Frank Lloyd Wright can be seen at the historic site: a pergola, glass-roofed conservatory and carriage house. The Martin House Restoration Corporation was formed in 1992 to restore the property to Wright's original vision as of 1907.
