Association To Benefit Children Cassidy House
The Association to Benefit Children, also known as ABC, is a nonprofit organization that serves children suffering because of abuse, neglect, sickness and homelessness. The organization offers educational programs for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. It provides housing assistance, crisis intervention, mental health, and family support and preservation services. The Association to Benefit Children offers summer day camp and youth leadership development and mentoring programs. The organization operates the Echo Park Early Childhood Center, Merricat's Castle School, Cassidy's Place, Variety Cody Gifford House and The Keith Haring School. It also provides several after-school and mentoring programs. The Association to Benefit Children s youth service clubs offer classes in drama, dance, soccer, poetry, basketball, football and fishing for children between the ages of 13 and 21.
