Gledi Peco, DPM, AACFAS, is a double board qualified specialist in podiatric medicine and surgery. Dr. Peco grew up in Albania. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, UT where he graduated Cum Laude. After graduation, he received his medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency at the Staten Island University Hospital, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Peco s profound commitment to community service drives his mission to provide state-of-the-art treatments for his patents. His dedication to offering advanced care aligns with his patients' needs, drawing them to his practice for his knowledge, compassion, and individualized treatment strategies.Dr. Peco has special interest in wound care, foot reconstruction surgery, and foot trauma. He currently serves as assistant professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, frequently training future doctors and residents on best practices and techniques in podiatric medicine and surgery.
