HistoryBorn in Manhattan, New York. Billy grew up in Port Jefferson, New York. In the early 90's he moved back to downtown New York City where he enjoyed success as a high profile real estate broker for the fashion industry. It was through the encouragement of clients and contacts within this industry which would inspire him to pursue a career as an actor. He had a head-shot made and sent it out sans agent. He answered an ad in 'Backstage' newspaper and landed a principle role in The Cut Runs Deep (1998) which also marked the feature debut for director John H. Lee. In addition to his acting stint, he also served as location scout on the production. He also made an appearance on the popular television sitcom
