Dr. Jacqueline Gofshteyn is an academic neurologist with a specialty in the treatment of refractory epilepsy and seizures associated with inflammatory/immune disorders. She is an Instructor in Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Assistant Attending Pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian Komansky Children's Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She is board certified in Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology.Dr. Gofshteyn received her B.A. degree in anthropology from Brown University. She then completed her medical degree (M.D.) from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, and her pediatric residency training at Northwell Health-Steven and Alexander Cohen Children’s Medical Center. She continued her training at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she completed a residency in Child Neurology and a Pediatric Epilepsy fellowship.In addition to specializing in the treatment of epilepsy, she is an active investigator in the field. Her clinical and research interests include refractory epilepsy and seizures associated with inflammatory or immune disorders.
