The Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Nassau County, also known as Nassau BOCES, serves more than 55 school districts in Nassau County in New York. The agency provides teacher training services and coordinates various alternative, technology and special education programs. It also offers career training services for high school students and adults. Established in 1967, the Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Nassau County administers various instructional programs in English, math, social studies, science, and physical and health education. It also conducts classes in art and aircraft maintenance technology education. The Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Nassau County s Foreign Language Program provides part- and full-time Japanese, Russian, Chinese and Korean language teachers to school districts.
