The P.S. 67 school building also houses P.S. 269 and the Community Roots Charter School. In 2009, PS 67 was found to be underperforming on state exams when compared with other schools in the area. According to reports, less than half of the students who took the tests tested at or above their grade level. The school received in 2009-2010 a "C" grade from the city, though those grades have since come under increasing scrutiny and criticism.
