History
Rabbithole Projects works in collaboration with BKC Brooklyn Central to create a multifaceted underground art space, complete with artists-in-residence, photo studio rentals, monthly exhibitions and a full events calendar. Through this partnership, and by merging exhibition with education, we aim to expand the possibilities of artists and their creative efforts. Located on the historic waterfront of the Dumbo art district in Brooklyn, Rabbithole Projects is a contemporary art gallery and photo studio. Since 2006, the gallery has exhibited works by emerging and mid-career artists. The neighborhood is an artistic landscape home to several renowned institutions such as Powerhouse books, VII Agency, and other galleries such as Smack Mellon. Each month, Dumbo hosts a gallery crawl called First Thursdays, and the neighborhood's village feel and laid back vibe yields a vibrantly energetic hub of artists and musicians.
