Mr. Anthony Scotto and his brothers arrived in the United States from Italy in 1961 and worked for their uncle's Italian restaurant in Brooklyn, New York. In 1967 after years of hard work and dedication the brothers and their brother-in-law opened their first restaurant 'Scotto's Pizzeria and Restaurant' in Port Washington with a second location in Great Neck. A few years later, they expanded their interests and opened local steak houses with much success. Their passion for the culinary arts and providing superior service grew as they developed their reputation of being a leader in the hospitality industry. In 1978 the Scottos purchased their first banquet and catering facility in Carle Place, New York and named it Chateau Briand.
