Phelps Memorial Medical Center is a 235-bed, not-for-profit acute care hospital with a broad range of medical and mental health care services including alcohol and substance abuse treatment, nutrition counseling for out-patients, stroke center, cardiovascular risk assessment, a six-bed pediatric unit, wound healing, diabetes and endocrine center for children, young adults, hospice, physical rehabilitation and geriatric patients. The hospital also includes the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
