Eric Clingen is keeping the tradition of old-fashioned woodworking alive is his sunny studio just off of the Main Street. He says his nightmare would be "running plywood through a table saw." Instead, he's barely using power tools, but repairing and restoring antique and vintage furniture. Chairs hang from the high walls and a heavy dining table waits upside down for his attention. As a musician on the side, he also started getting into repairing and selling fine-stringed instruments. Clingen sells a few select early American pieces but repairing items is what he's been known for since 1985.
