Founded in 1983, The INN is a nonprofit organization that works to promote awareness related to hungry and homeless individuals. It maintains various soup kitchens that serve more than 300,000 meals to children, adults and seniors annually and receives food donations from schools, businesses, and religious and community groups. The organization offers emergency shelters that provide supportive services for homeless guests 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The INN assists guests with crisis intervention and prevention and goal identification and achievement. It also offers supportive services, such as counseling and case management, life skills and vocational training, and educational tutoring for children and parents.
