Located in New York City, The Posse Foundation identifies, recruits and trains students from public high schools to form multicultural teams called Posses. It prepares children for enrollment in various universities throughout the United States. Operational for more than 15 years, the organization has locations in Boston; Chicago; Los Angeles; Atlanta; and Washington, D.C. The Posse Foundation features a career program that includes an internship program, the alumni career network and career counseling services. It also organizes workshops that train students in the areas of cross-cultural communication, leadership, academic excellence, and team building and group support. The organization partners with several colleges and universities, including Connecticut College, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Vanderbilt University, Hamilton College and Bucknell University.
