Autism Society of North Carolina offers a wide variety of social and welfare services to people suffering from disabilities. The center provides various services, including medical, therapeutic, educational, vocational, recreational, social and residential services. The organization offers other services, such as information and referrals, mental health care, transition planning, residential and vocational support, emergency and urgent care, rehabilitation, and support of parent groups. The center organizes programs, such as social work, adult education, family health care, literacy and family builders programs. The center manages departments that include consultation centers for schools and families. It also organizes various programs for children suffering from child abuse, foster placement issues, substance abuse and psychiatric problems.
