HistoryHands-On began in 1988, like many other small businesses, in a garage. As the volume of orders grew, the founder and current owner, Mark Aspland, leased space in Cornelius, bought equipment, and started full-time. His concept from the beginning was to create cabinetry and storage systems that would not only be attractive but also serve the client's storage needs. The current 24,000 sq. ft. plant, still in Cornelius, NC, employs state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment run by local craftsmen whose average tenure with the company is 10 years. The goal has been to build a network of satisfied customers that would both recommend us to their friends as well as return years later when their circumstances changed to buy again.
