The Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion and Polk counties has more than 30 years of history as a youth services provider. More than 8,000 youngsters, ranging in grades from one to 12, are members at four clubs and two outreach programs in the Salem and Keizer area. The club is designed to promote the well-being and healthy development of members by enhancing and reinforcing family stability, cohesion and connection. It has a range of youth programs that include cultural arts, education, games room, health and physical fitness, sports leagues and camps, computer technology, employment training and leadership and community service. The family support programs include family fun night, sight for students, parenting classes, referral to community services, dental screenings, job skills training, single-parent support groups and holiday gift programs. The Boys & Girls Club is headquartered in Salem, Ore.
